Hauling at a Peak Auction Loading the truck at a Peak Auction Loading Building Materials at a Peak Auction

Tips

Come prepared to haul your building materials. What Peak Auction sells very seldom fits into the trunk of automobiles. Bring help to watch your purchases as well as load your building materials.

During the auction you may hand carry paid for materials out of the building to your vehicle. As a general rule, fork lifts will begin operating at noon on Saturday and 7:30am on Sunday. As our auctions are held on public property everything must be removed by noon following the last day of the auction.

Security:

Please understand very clearly that at the moment of sale (the fall of the hammer, or the auctioneer says "Sold") the material is yours and the security of the material rests with you. As a service to you we will have guards at the door during the sale to verify a receipt on every thing that passes through, the forklift driver will ask for a receipt before loading lumber. A sad fact of life is that people sometimes steal from one another. People who prepare properly for the auction never lose anything and people who come by themselves, without proper conveyance always lose something.

Payout:

Everything MUST be paid for on the day of purchase, no exceptions. If you are a check writer, bring several, thus allowing you to payout several times a day so you can load as often as you need to. All material must be accompanied with a paid invoice for loading.

Building materials are big and heavy, have sharp edges, and with forklifts, trucks and trailers moving around, the auction is not a safe place for small children.
